Short Group Description
We are a enthousiastic dance couple from Lithuania and Holland. We are based in Holland and dance salsa shows New York style (on2) in Holland and Europe. We love to perform and teach salsa, because dancing is our passion!
Biography:
Gintas started dancing in the first lithuanian LA and NY style salsa school SalsaSisters. Soon he moved to the Netherlands where he joined dancingschool Salsaddiction. Because of his motivation in dancing he developed himself very quickly and he started performing in various Salsaddiction team routines. While dancing, Gintas pays careful attention to his partner and music. For him it is essential that every dance shares a great fun and playfulness.
Miranda started dancing Jazzdance when she was a little girl. At the age of ten she already danced national competitions and won serveral prices. After 20 years of performing and 5 years of teaching in Jazzdance she attended a salsa class and felt in love immediately. A new challenge was born and she found out that salsa was exactly what she was looking for. She loves the creativity and passion in the dance. She won the NK-Salsa competition in her division in a very short time and started to dance at dancingschool Salsaddiction where she continued to develop her skills.
In 2012 Gintas & Miranda met at dancingschool Salsaddiction and felt a good connection on the dancefloor, so they decided to dance and perform together. With their first show “Mi Tierra” they showed great entusiasm and passion on stage. Besides performing, Gintas and Miranda also love to teach and share their passion & knowledge in their classes. This year they will present a new show called “Hombre”.
